Terms and conditions for manuscript submission

In order to facilitate the process of reviewing and publishing articles, it is necessary for researchers who want to publish their scientific articles in this journal, to pay attention to the following points, otherwise the article will not be subjected to review and evaluation and also the paper will just once be returned to the author for structural revisions.

Types of paper

Reviews should present a focused aspect on a topic of current interest or an emerging field. They are not intended as comprehensive literature surveys covering all aspects of the topic, but should include all major findings and bring together reports from a number of sources. These critical reviews should draw out comparisons and conflicts between work, and provide an overview of the 'state of the art'.

Research Papers are reports of complete, scientifically sound, original research which contributes new knowledge to its field.

Please see our information pages.

Submission declaration and verification

Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously and it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.  its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form. To verify originality, your article may be checked by the originality detection service.

Copyright
Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete a 'Journal Publishing Agreement'. An e-mail will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript together with a 'Journal Publishing Agreement' form or a link to the online version of this agreement.

Role of the funding source

You are requested to identify who provided financial support for the conduct of the research and/or preparation of the article and to briefly describe the role of the sponsor(s), if any, in study design; in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data; in the writing of the report; and in the decision to submit the article for publication. If the funding source(s) had no such involvement then this should be stated.

Language (usage and editing services)
MMB will edit the accepted manuscripts by native English editor.

Referees
Please submit the names and institutional e-mail addresses of three experienced referees with different affiliations with the author (es). This facilitates your review processing.   Note that the editor retains the sole right to decide whether or not the suggested reviewers are used.

Review Process

A peer review system involving two or three reviewers is used to ensure high quality of manuscripts accepted for publication. The Editor-in-Chief has the right to decline formal review of the manuscript when it is deemed that the manuscript is 1) on a topic outside the scope of the Journal, 2) lacking technical merit, 3) focused on foods or processes that are of narrow regional scope and significance, 4) fragmentary and provides marginally incremental results, or 5) is poorly written.

Use of word processing software

It is important that the file be saved in the native format of the word processor used. The text should be in single-column format. Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible.

  • Permission should be sought from the publisher to reproduce any substantial part of a copyrighted work that depends on both the significance of the material and the quantity of material used. This includes any text, illustrations, charts, tables, photographs, or other material from previously published sources used.  If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners (publisher) and credit the source(s) in the manuscript.

Copyright protects only original (i.e. creative) material. As such it protects only the particular form of expression of a work and not the ideas or facts contained in it. Public domain works are not protected by copyright and may be reproduced without permission. Permission would however be required to re-use the final formatted, edited, published version of the work in certain cases, as it is owned by the publisher.

  • Completion and submission of the commitment form, conflict of interest and the authors information is mandatory (Journal Forms).
